Rising on the Tibetan plateau, the Mekong, South East Asia’s longest river, is navigable in Cambodia and Vietnam, and on some vessels into Laos. A cruise along the river is a wonderful way to see many of the highlights of Indochina, including Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh and the legendary temples of Angkor.
