Founded in 2003, this New York-based design firm is the product of the Sara Story’s unique vision. Born in Japan, Sara traveled the world from a young age, gaining firsthand knowledge about countries’ different visual cultures. The interior designer has also lived in California, Texas, and New York, earning a B.F.A. from the University of San Diego (who awarded her a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011), and a degree in Interior Architecture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Sara is a Board Member of Ballroom Marfa, a contemporary art space in Texas which focus on the freedom of artistic expression through culturally impactful art. Sara is also a member of the Arts Council of the America’s Society and the Design Leadership Network.
